Sun Room

Post by tuna57 » Thu May 21, 2020 9:56 pm

Been away from SU and Twilight for months. Figured I'd better break it back out before I forgot what little I've learned.
Bashed together a little sun room scene. Rendered easy 9, 100 passes, minor post pro.

The light in the room and all is very real and looks great. The exterior is not as good as the rest, which is fully realistic IMO.

pbacot , Fletch , Thanks for the input. Agree the outside image could be a lot better. Used a spherical sky thats not to great. Really didn't want to go the route of "gimping" in the background. Probably will do some more experimenting with this one. cheers :!

I agree with ^ but the room is nicely brought out in this, new background and it would be perfect.

Thanks Mike. Posting a new render of this.... Swapped in a different spherical background image. Decided to turn out the lamp, got to save on the electric bill don't you know. Post pro Topaz and Affinity. Wouldn't mind to desaturate this particular spherical background image a little. Need to remember to take it into Affinity for some adjustments. Cheers !

Last version of this I promise. Opened the background spherical image in Affinity , selected only the grass and desaturated it quit a bit. Tweaked the color of the lampshade a small amount . Also plumped up the pillows in these last two renders. Render settings stayed the same throughout. Fun practice to get back into the swing of things. Post pro
Topaz DeNoise and Affinity. :^:

+1 :gj:

the models of the pillows are not at the same level of the other furniture models, IMHO. :|
