Here's a scene demonstrating a logo on frosted glass. OPTION 1 requires a little modeling, but is simple enough:
Actually, the window is double-glazed (*edit - A single face of Thin Glass on either side of the "window" with glass face normals facing away from center of window where logo is located), with the logo inserted into SketchUp as an "Image" and placed "floating" between the two pieces of glass. The glass is "Architectural>Common" (aka "thin glass") basic Twilight material template.
The png logo image has no template applied. Changing transparency of the png is done in photoshop or other image editor.
OPTION 2 requires no modeling, also simple:
Same logo - 90% opacity white with completely clear lettering in the .png file
Template>Frosted Glass>Heavy
The logo is a .png file with clean transparency at the lettering and white at 90% transparent - created in Photoshop and attached below.

Re: Logo on glass
Looks great! Why "between" the glass--to keep it light? Double pane, is that 2 surfaces or 4? Actually I can never know until I try it in a render. Sometimes two sides to glass gives doubled reflections that look blurred or not enough clarity. Other times it seems to help. But I never do four surfaces myself.
Re: Logo on glass
pbabcot, please feel free to download the scene and take a look.
two faces, not four
This gives reflections no matter from which side of the window the logo is viewed.
This method of adjusting the opacity of the logo in photoshop and adjusting the reflection with the thin glass material in Twilight is quick and simple.
This could be accomplished with a deep material, but I wanted to give something quick and easy anyone can do.

Re: Logo on glass
Updated post above to show another option for this Frosted Glass logo idea, the Frosted glass template looks pretty nice and is super fast to apply.
