Re: Fake antique style
I like both versions but the colored one is a little to blue for me.
The detail of the contents is striking to me. I only wish I had the talent to do stuff like this.

Brilliant.

"something antique"
something about this project seems different from your regular adventures.
But very nice, as always. I prefer the color versions, myself.
How in the world did you build that lamp in SketchUp?!? You are a SketchUp god!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Fletch, I don't know if you saw it, but yes, the lamp is made with Sketchup. There is a small process in the Sketchucation forum. I know there are better ones for me, but I occupied a niche with few competitors - upholstered furniture with Sketchup. Some kind of nonesense.
Re: Fake antique style
Nice scene Alvy, and great assets. Question... is the door using Bump/Normal texture or geometry?
Re: Fake antique style
Mate, this is a rendering forum, not a photography forum...

Re: Fake antique style
Thanks for the comments. In fact here is a geometry with a projected texture (only low resolution). Without bump . I made the ornaments very primitively. because I thought it wouldn't stand out from that angle.
