Rocking Caustics in balance
Took me a while to get this thing to sit still for my photo.

Re: Caustics with Easy 10
Fletch, you are really creating some great renders with these objects and the environment you have them in.
Now for a silly question: Can you bring the same effect to these objects in an exterior or interior environment where they are only part of a “normal” scene?

I agree, definitely on a roll, cheese or cheese and ham?
Re: Caustics with Easy 10
I had fun with this idea, trying to find a creative way to display this shape.
Now I want one of these, and I don't even know what it is.

Re: Caustics with Easy 10
Again, really good!
It would neat to see these things in a 360 pano view.

Re: Caustics with Easy 10
Not really sure what you mean by work them into a "normal" scene. I mean, I think it would be a cool 'executive desk' object. Maybe I can work up an office scene for you if you like. But the caustics with the way the lights are shining on them like this will not be the same, I think. But hold on I may have an idea...
Re: Caustics with Easy 10
Yes, something like an office scene is what I meant. It would also be near to see a 360 panovision.
Re: Caustics with Easy 10
Just saw another post on the SketchUp forum with another interesting idea. Have you ever looked/used the SimLad extension that allows you to create a 3D PDF from within SU. That could be a really interesting idea as well.
