Single monitor running.
Re: Single monitor running.
please post screenshot of environment settings.
You will want to use a portal if you are trying to get the light from outside into this small window.
download and try exploring this scene:

Re: Single monitor running.
I will look at that again later. As I suspected, I had neglected to adjust sunlight levels, I was awake, honest.
In this render the light artedact is reduced and closer but still too much. Sunlight is .5%.

Re: Single monitor running.
The portal seems to have done nothing much, there is an issue with light through a window, I know not what.

It's a set for the X-files.........
Pretty soon, the liver eating and excreting freak will climb through the vent, I'd better put one in then.....

Re: Single monitor running.
I have to see the file to diagnose the problem.Fletch wrote: ↑Mon Nov 21, 2022 12:06 pm if you wish me to diagnose the scene more thoroughly, please post link to scene... include HDRi (in render dialog you can export scene as zip, then drop the skippy into the zip file, because the export doesn't include the skippy file.) then share the link to that file.
Re: Single monitor running.
Again, just curious (when am I not
), could it possibly be a reversed face issue?

Re: Single monitor running.
I think, that the reduction in appreance suggests within reasonable doubt, that the sun illumination is the issue. Switching off this sun illumination would prove it. I also think this is unworthy of further diagnosis because one more render will do enough. I am pretty sure you already have enough on your plate and this came from tinkering. Not a serious attempt. I am still looking at a new pc but will be more serious when I have the jhorsepower to run with it a bit more. I am running with 2gig free ram lately so that could also be an issue so I will go at this another time or with another pc, whatever.
Chaps.
PS, reverse face, nah, checked that one.
