To place the windows on a cylinder, there are several approaches:
1- adding enough segments to the base circle, then making the hidden lines visible and placing windows (as components) on each face
2 - using joint-push-pull plugin....
3- using bend plugin to place windows on curved cylinder...
Also,,
If I were you, I would definitely gather some reference images to help my dreams come to reality...

Thanks Majid, I will look at these again. I like both #1 & #2 the best.

Yes, I am doing that. Also considering creating my own background. Want to get the model done first though.

Well, here is my latest work. The letter
Q was the "inspiration" for this sketch and render.

The windows did not turn out exactly as I had hoped. The reflection seem not to appear in all of them.

Well done! The result is great...
I hope you and others find the book, inspiring and consider it as a source of creativity and pondering the shapes, then broaden this point of view to other shapes too..

Thanks Majid - I appreciate your response.
Yes, your book inspired this sketch & render and you have me thinking about some others for the future. I would like to see some others produce some sketches & renders as well.
