Incomprehensible errors when rendering

Hi,

I noticed a render problem with my modell that I dont understand.

This is a printscreen from Sketchup:

In Wireframe mode:

And this is the output after rendering:

Does anybody have a clue what can be problem?

I am using Sketchup Make 2017 and everything els seems to render just fine.

that is strange, but here's my guess -
In order to create a rendering of your model, Twilight uses a render engine under the hood called "Kerkythea". (KT for short) KT requires a mesh of triangles. So it triangulates irregular polygons.

Your model is showing a curve (many short segments that represent a curve) on one side of the street, and a single line on the other side. When this many-sided irregular polygon is converted to a triangular mesh for the engine, the mesh solution is not great. You can help by adding some key lines to break up that big multi-sided polygon of a road. See attached example.

On top of this, you should always assign thickness (30cm or a foot thick is a good start) to floors, walls, surfaces like this. Especially assign thickness to the ground.
