I had only a few hours to submit my design for the NASA Moon to Mars. So wrapped up this from my Skybound Structures book sketches. I hope you like it.

I saw some ideas from previous competitions and I thought the designer thinks is living on and designing for Earth instead of Mars: There were stone-smashing machines, ambitious buildings... etc... While at least at the beginning we have to behave economically and use the site potential.
Why not use valleys or craters and dig them and live inside to protect ourselves from extreme temperature changes and radiations? This was the initial concept...
