Brick Competition

Post by marvins_dad » Tue Nov 03, 2009 3:36 pm

Just wanted to share some images from a competition that some of the folks in my firm put together last week.

We had about 2 days to render everything - we used Twilight exclusively with some Photoshop post work, mainly for lightening and fixing the horrendous grass texture that was used.

Thanks.

Yeah, I was wanting at least a month with the models to get the lighting and textures just right. So it goes to show that Twilight can do a great job on such a tight schedule. Most were 2500pixels wide, only one of them was output-ed at 4500pix.

I'll have to check out the Berlin hotel and see if we accidentally ripped them off...LOL.

Just used the normal architectural glass and custom brick map...everything else was basic materials from sketchup that I told twilight what type of material it was - soft, reflective, etc.
