Indoor render practice

Post by jerome » Mon Nov 16, 2009 2:14 pm

Render by me and model provided by my friend.
I still have a long way to learn more.

This scene has A LOT of potential... ;)
However, the furnitures and other components really doesn't suit this scene and drag it down... :|

I suggest that you take some design magazines and get some inspiration regarding the interior, what furnitures to use...
Also the lightning lack...

The 3D model looks sweet... Reminded me of a poser model I rendered in KT some time ago... ;)

A lot of detail, I agree it's a great start! I agree with Frederik that the couch and chairs don't really fit it.

Great WIP, I like it alot. :)
I agree about the models and materials, some should be improved.
Try to use appropraite materials (eg, the carpet mat should not be chosen for the sofa, 1st pic.)
Anyway, keep up the good work!

I like the overall render, but maybe larger texture files, may improve , also maybe some more attention to minor materials such as chairs, woods, stones on the walls, a lighter bump for the floor and maybe better 3d trees such as those here:

keep on nice rendering mate :)
