looks like there is little light coming thru the window.
apply the thin glass no shadow to the glass and set opacity to zero
be sure there are no other materials applied to any group or component containing that glass that may be accidentally overriding that material somehow.

there should be light flooding the room according to the SU shadows... so

you could just delete or hide the glass, as you can't tell in this view anyway... right? :totgm:

 I would go one step further and use a Sky Portal! Check the Sky Portal section and Light Thru a Window section in the Reference section of the User Manual v. 1.1 :!: ... this way - your Easy 09 or 10 render settings will render this scene much faster because a lot more light will enter the space... all rays from the sky will enter the window.

Thanx Fletch... :)
I will try it for sure. I've already deleted the glass from window & I can see that now is much faster then this one.
I didn't realise the connection More light => faster render.
Whith the Metropolis Light Transport after 30 minutes I have 8 passes already :)

Yes, it is noisy in fact but my patience came to an end :)
I stopped it after 12 hours to give a bit of rest to my machine...
After Flech sugetions i'm making a new one. It looks much better now I supose... :)

one thing I should have mentioned - the floor does not look right... have you tried Shiny plastic material, and use a proper bump map? See the reference section - "bump map" section...

Back to think about the noise problem and rendering time, you might use some noise reduction filters such as NeatImage or Helicon.
And probably fake emitt the TV to save some rendering time , which will reduce some noise as a result. :)

Fake emit on TV will not work in Easy 9 or 10 progressive render methods.
also, Easy 9 and 10 render at same speed as near as we can tell with 5 lights or 500... so, no, it will not save time, nor reduce noise... afaik.

Thanks Fletch! It's just an idea that just crops out while thinking about the noise.
I'm still trying out the demo version and hopefully it goes well. :)
12.5hrs and still grainy is an issue IMHO.
