Re: Chirp... chirp... chirp...
True Eric, maybe everyone is so busy preparing Christmas or vacation?
Now I feel like I have to do something about it...

1. Perhaps our clients don't want their projects to be shown online.
2. Perhaps some users are busy shopping, decorating, making travel arrangements, etc.
In my case, it's number 1, and I'm also spending some time trying to learn Japanese.

Well for me it is because I have been tied up at work quite a bit lately. We have a big Gob'mint project finishing up and I am working late nights so I don't have much time to "play". My Christmas shopping was done months ago.

Hey, is that similar to Gummint projects?
Has anybody heard of any competing products starting up or updating a version? That sometimes draws folks away for a spell.

Number one here too. Most of the time our clients / project manager would prefer to not post an image online.Ecuadorian wrote:1. Perhaps our clients don't want their projects to be shown online.

Not sure I understand what you're trying to say here, Phil...Phil Meadows wrote:Has anybody heard of any competing products starting up or updating a version? That sometimes draws folks away for a spell.
I haven't seen many applications with updates, new functions, bells and wistles as I've seen with TWR...
Do you mean that the updates happens too frequently...??

Re: Chirp... chirp... chirp...
I'm saying that our community (dedicated SketchUp-users who do rendering programs) likes to experiment a lot with new programs, rendering or otherwise; and that it's kind of natural to spend one's time on the forum of a given app, to get a head-start on how it works. Heck that's how I first came here, and I have neglected the SketchUcaton forum much too much since landing on this forum.
So, I was wondering if the lack of activity here meant there was more activity somewhere else. But, we seem to be picking up here a tad, and it is Christmas.
