Drug up an old unfinished practice model intended for testing pool water. House , patio area is pretty classic 50's - 60's South Florida style. Tweaked on the bump map and depth color of the water to suit me. Rendered Easy 8. Put the background in post pro. Didn't have many back ground pics that looked right so you get a seaside view from the pool area . Not sure I got the horizon quite right... oh well
. Was a nice little practice piece.

Peaceful and calm, an air of being at ease mate. Looking good.

Looks good
I always paint the bottom of the pool with the classic turquoise.

Thanks Mike. Thanks Fletch , I'll have to try the "painting the pool bottom" trick.

In particular, I like the reflections in the pool (I.e. door).

Tiles will make it look classier.
Subject: Pool at night
But I have rendered a lot of pools and in my experiments the best turquoise color to try is: RGB 18 213 242

Thanks everyone. Fletch classy or not I don’t think I could cover a pool in tiles. Pools I was around had a white “marble-tite” finish , kind of a type of plaster ,very common in south Florida back in the day.
