Edit Light pop-up doesn't show B&W "light" in the box, like on the tutorials. When I select a new light nothing appears in the [box]. I have V2 Pro now, but had the free version for a couple of months.

It looks like you have (probably accidentally) turned off the light preview. In the lower left corner of the Light Editor, there is a red 'X'. Click it and it will turn to a green check. That will enable your preview.
