Just another livingroom

Post by Zacchia » Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:52 pm

Here specially is the sofa, it was originally scanned with my 3d Scanner 8-) because i do not have the files. It should be a black leather. Rendered with Medium in about 1 hours. Fletch, see i have done a second surface on the picture on the wall and applyed architectural Glass no shadow. It is good for me! Lightsources are sun and one spotlight.

very nice couch!
The pillows look like they could use a re-scan. use the "weld" checkbox for their material weld angle to 30... then they will be smooth.

sounds very cool - what does the 3d scanner look like? do you have a photo?

There's a framed picture in the Twilight components package test scene. You can see how that one was built. I'm glad this one is working out for you. ;)

The floor tile - you need some hi-res floor tile and a good bump and specular map for it. It will make a huge difference.

It is just a camera, a old PC, a Linelaser and a lot of work to find out how to make the whole thing in XXL Version 8-)
