Re: Twilighted Oldies
man, you're really cruising!
you need to create some hi-res textures for common materials you use a lot like pavers, and wood. If you need some tips, let us know.

Fletch, yeah, that paving material has been bugging me......I actually replaced the render you saw with one where I modeled the mortar joints...something I dont intend to make a habit of
So any suggestions re. textures much appreciated...but I'm geting the feeling I will have to take the Arrowway way...or something similar

Re: Twilighted Oldies
ok, I'll try to put together a tutorial for building your own hi-res textures... it's not difficult once you get the hang of it.
Re: Twilighted Oldies
thats the only thing i was gonna suggest, textures are too low res at the moment. you do not need arroway textures. you could make a paving texture and bumpmap very quickly, you really do not need to model any joints. good call on tutorial fletch. fantastic vegetation stu! first image appears to need some sharpening (prob due to low res tex) and clone stamping to some of the 'flat' looking vegetation. but other than that, beauties mate....by the way are you even using any bumpmaps?

Re: Twilighted Oldies
We recommend saving original image as .png or .tif first when saving out of Twilight (default is .jpg) to preserve quality - you will likely see a difference!
but please do a "Save-as" to .jpg at about 60% quality before posting to the forum.
