can hemispherical sky be used on Mac Monterey? if so how? Also is there a Mac version of the twilight USER MANUAL? The PC version seems very different than Mac

Yes, hemispherical sky works exactly the same way on both Windows and macOS. In the environment editor, choose the Hemispherical Sky option under Type and then select your image. Note that it must be a Latitude-Longitude mapped image.

The tutorial here is a basic walk through on how to use the environment editor: https://www.twilightrender.com/index.ph ... utorial-v2

What problem are you specifically experiencing?
Can you give a step-by-step for us to follow to reproduce?
Do you have a link to the hemispherical sky file for us to try?

I found a hemispherical sky used here, but my SU model is floating. How can I fix this?

First guess would be your model has been moved above the origin ….. can’t be certain without seeing the model.

I also mentioned you need a ground plane.
