Having had a few (Yes Imnean a few, not lots) very nice beers over the festive season I thought I turn my hand to a favourite of mine. Ola Dubh which is a rich dark stout finnished in single malt casks. Yumm and indeed 'ee.
Anyway I am trying tocreate a library of entourage to enable a render scene of a family or friends get together and this is part one. If anyone can advise on how I can have a dark stout glass finish AND see the beer in the bottle it would brighten up another day.

Best to all folks

Adjusted the glass finish and added illumination to the 'ale' at 40w and 60%. Obviously there is room for adjustment of glass and content.

In case anyone ponders on the poor quality label, it is a screen grab and low in definition. I am trying to get high def from the venders.

nice - just try putting it in this photo studio: "two straight emitters" or the two tall rectangles HDRI

Interesting experimenting. :^: Don’t feel bad, I’ve had difficulty getting these brown beer bottles looking right also. I’d get the color looking pretty close in SU but when assigning the glass template and rendering always a big shift in the appearance. Haven’t fooled with it enough to get a satisfactory “up close” result yet. :! :^:

Amazing model and render. I like the latest much more. It shows the importance of the lighting studio.
