Alphabet inspired sketches

Post by majid » Thu Mar 09, 2023 5:16 am

Inspired by the 3D text tool I am doing some sketches. They are meant to be suitable for 3D modeling using SketchUp and also one may simply consider them as a source of form creation.
It is more than two months that the situation is very crucial here and this has hindered me to progress. By the way, this is a glance at this set of sketches.
The first image is a sketch of letter "B", turned into volume... I have gathered 3 pages of logo designs for each letter. Then created 6 volumes (sketches) from those logos. So the whole job is roughly composed of (26*3) pages of letter design + (26 * 6) sketches from some of those logos.

here are some sketches of letters "A" and "F". Usually, each page consists of 10-15 different variations of typography) of each letter.

Thank you mates for your nice compliments. I added more descriptions. It is a set of sketches of English alphabet letters. Some turned into volumes, some yet to be turned.

Majid, this stuff is incredible. The sketches and results blow my mind. I wish I could think like you. The images make a lot of sense when you look at them.
:rspkt: :gj:  :hat: OK - I can not find more emojis that express what I think of your work. :hat:

I am trying to lean Krits.......one stupid/dumb mistake after another. I would love to learn to draw. I am just not sure where and how I should start. All I have is an OLD laptop and an iPad. I know I am not an artist but I really enjoy trying to learn/improve. It is guys like you who encourage/inspire me to try. :whoot:

We all are artists, just remember when we were doing art as children... I bet we all have drawn and painted walls. Then we were thought not to express ourselves and be judged. We might reunite with our inner creative child once again in a matter of minutes, I believe.
Krita is extremely powerful but it was a nightmare for me in the first 2 weeks and later I learned the basics gradually. Keep going man, and let me know if I may share some hints.. :rspkt:
