Chevrolet Corvette C1 1958

Hello guys this is my take on a classic Chevrolet Corvette C1 circa 1958. This is my first car model ever and for sure the geometry is not perfect but I think is a good compromise between detail and file size. All comments are welcome. I will upload the model to the 3d warehouse if anyone is interested to play with it. A shot of the interior to follow soon.

Oh I remember these well. I know someone from high school (in the 50’s) who has an older corvette that is on display in the museum in southern Kentucky (don’t remember what year his is).

I thought this was a photo.

Thanks mate, I tried the model with one of my hdri, what I find though is that the scaling of some of these hdri means having to scale the model up or down or it looks like a toy. I wish there was a method of properly adjusting the hdri images to life or model scale.

Hi Mike as you can see the model is roughly to the right scale, about 4.5 m long. I guess you need an hdri editor to be able to change the scale of the spherical sky. I remember some time ago Fletch posted some advise on how to do this, perhaps you could do a search on the topic. Take care and thank you for your comments.
