Re: Pavilion
Is this SketchUp? Seriously?
Wow.
Wow.
Re: Pavilion
thanks guys.
miguel: I started off with a sphere and used FFD to get the general sweeping shape. I then used wings 3d to subdivide it.... then triangulate, offset and finally sweep ( sweep = same as joint push pull)
you can do all this with 'subdivide and smooth' but it takes a lot longer......and not as reliable.
wings3D is a great bit of fun I really recommend it...and its free!!

Oli,
have you played with Sculptris yet?
It's so fun I had to take it off my computer so I could get some real work done. no. seriously. I did.
But I saw a minute ago that a new alpha was released just last week, so there goes my evening... (hope he's fixed obj export!)

Re: Pavilion
aww shucks.
The Alpha 2 is fantastic btw - OBJ export seems more reliable/stable (worked every time for me so far)
don't have my obj importer installed for SU at the mo. so just opened it in KT and rendered.
