Some computer parts...

RENDER:

I'm a novice renderer. I used a large white floor, the default sky & sun settings for lighting & BPT. Still, looks pretty good in my opinion. :P

That was so cheesy it literally made me lol

Nice job pbmax, render's pretty straightforward but I really like the modelling...
Some say there are no stupid questions. I'm in the habit of proving those people wrong.

if you want more fun and instantaneously perfect lighting for product photography...
load a studio HDR like one of these into your spherical sky, and adjust sky brightness to taste.
also may adjust exposure in Camera tab during render. but best to wait until render is complete.

Use "spherical sky" always, except when the site from which you downloaded the image specifically says it's a "probe".

probes are normally circular....the kinda look like a sky in a ball.

this is a quick one I found:

spherical skies...well they look like the ones you can download from the downloads section in this forum....rectangular shape.

nice renders (fan looks like a photo :^: ) and great detail to your models (have i seen your work at SCF??)...i really recommend hdri studio, like fletch says, as it instantly adds some photorealism and allows you to spend more time setting up a composition rather than the lighting. there are some available in the downloads section. remember to turn off the sun though and just use the hdri as spherical sky.

nice pun miguel
