TurboCAD can save from it’s native .tcw format to .skp but it doesn’t provide any setup options, this was done with TCv16. It took 38 minutes to save the skp from TCAD. I didn't use any clean up scripts but if you look closely at the blended edges there is geometry/facets missing. Can you recommend a clean up script...will it fix missing facets? See attached.

ah.. didnt know turbocad had a direct save to SKP. I thought it was exported as .3ds or .obj and then imported into sketchup. if turbocad does export as .3ds and .obj, then i would strongly recommend thomas's cleanup script available here

edit: i was thinking about this.. did u try scaling up ur object within turbocad and then try saving it as an SKP file?? sometimes when small measurements are involved.. sketchup finds it hard to stitch faces... just a thought here..

Jenujacob, thank-you for your prompt reply and the link to the clean-up script. This is something I am going to have to test out on my imports.
Good thought about the scaling thing, it did cross my mind before but now you have me thinking that this could solve this issue. Will have to try it.

this should work (the scaling trick) ... it has for me in the past with ACAD files and same issue.
