Twilight won't read the material libraries that I put into the folder:
C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 6\Plugins\Twilight\Materials
I got the libs from the Kerkythea website. They've been unpacked and I restarted SU.
Any ideas?
Does this only work in the full version?
Won't Read Material Libraries
Re: Won't Read Material Libraries
Can you please tell us which library pack you are referring to?
Can you please give us a screen shot of your material folder?
Re: Won't Read Material Libraries
Here's the materials folder:
The library shown above is from this link:
http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.p ... elect&id=3
Here's a subfolder with the library LIS LR Floors:
I tried not using subfolders and putting the files directly in the materials folder, but that did not work either. The library shown above is from this link:

Re: Won't Read Material Libraries
Because the material library is called Lis LR Floors, it must be in a folder called Lis LR Floors. You can't rename the folder to something else.
By the way, that library and several other "Floor" libraries on the KT site have very large images in them that will use up your RAM quickly.

Re: Won't Read Material Libraries
Great, thanks Chris! It was the folder names that caused the problem.
About the RAM issue, is the library loaded when Twilight/SketchUp load or when you select the library in the material editor (if a material from the library isn't in use already)?

Re: Won't Read Material Libraries
Great question.
Each library is loaded separately the first time you click on it's 'tab' in the Library section. Except the first library in the list. It is loaded the first time you open the material editor because it's tab is considered 'available' immediately.
Obvious exceptions apply to libraries that are actually in use. If you choose to edit a material that is assigned a library material, that library is loaded immediately on opening the material editor (unless already loaded). If a material is assigned a library material, that library is loaded on render (unless already loaded).
Typically libraries are ordered alphabetically, but also retain their "directory hierarchy". Meaning if you directories look like this:
