Birthday Invitation

Post by NVizeon » Sun Aug 22, 2010 1:47 am

My son is having a birthday party soon and I Wanted to do a nice invitation for him. It's a chess themed party. The pizza and cup were added in Photoshop. I had the cup and pizza modeled in SU but they did not render very well. I have a lot to learn about lighting and texturing but Twilight is really easy to use and I'm enjoying my self paced training. Comments are welcome. The magnifying glass came from the Twilight resources forum, all other items were from the 3d warehouse or modeled by me. Photon Mapped with AA setting. Let it cook over night I just have a Dell M70 laptop so I don't have much horse power under the hood.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement. I've always been interested in rendering software but never found something easy to use that I could get good results in until Twilight. I may venture into graphic areas and step outside of strictly architecture stuff. The nice thing about it is it does not have to be real.
