my style of Rembrandt.

Post by sofie9536 » Sat Oct 23, 2010 5:33 am

I tried to compose a picture in the style of the Middle Ages. Warm colors and lighting. a book is from the google warehouse, the other objects by me. Rendertime=14 hours, 420x Interior rendering,1200x1200. What is the difference between exterior and interior rendering please?

Wow! Great work!

The SketchUp UV mapping is the only major issue I see with the image.

Really great stuff, indeed!

Fletch, please, don't be so hard!

Or rather Fletch, please, be hard so that this render can be perfect indeed (my eyes of course did not notice those little flaws at the first sight).

I said "wow" literally out loud when I saw it, so I'm not being hard! :?
I mentioned because these are only tiny things that make an image go from good to great... and it is a "wip" section, after all...

WOW.....!!!

the stuff that Fletch mentioned plus a crease or two on the paper and a bit of dripping candle wax and it would be just about as convincing as you could possibly make it.....although it's pretty damn convincing already.....!!!

:^: :clap:

@gareth
@fletch
I think now I understand the criticism. I try to change these things. still have a question: what kind of render the best mode for the picture?

I know, Fletch. That's why I (also) wrote BE hard as this render has the potentials to become a perfect scene + a perfect render!
;)

And sofie: yes, definitely a "WOW"! :gj:

oh sofie.......believe me they are not criticisms.....we are being as picky as hell.....this is a truly wonderful scene, model and render.....you are merely a nano step away from making it truly brilliant.....!!! :^:
