Here's a SketchUp model of a fountain that someone created with water flowing down.
Using the Realistic Glass>Water Twilight Material Template, using the texture to drive only the bump as described in this Water Fast tutorial, one is able to render animated water from SketchUp. The animated .gif looses some quality from the rendering, but still shows the effect quite well. Before rendering this animation, try installing these Animation Render Settings - Supplemental first. This animation was rendered with the Medium render setting with tracing depth set to 2.
