Teleporter

Post by Rohganthompson » Mon Apr 22, 2013 3:10 pm

I was testing lighting in a room and ended up making this Teleporter.

Thought id share it.
I don't like the texture on the shell its hard to distinguish the lines, Not sure weather to go for a darker metal or tweak the existing one, also think the lights came out too strong, But didn't know until i saw this finished render.
Let me know what you think :^:
Thank you

It's wrong !! the phase coils are misaligned and it will result in meatloaf teleport ... though, it will be an efficient meat grinder ... :dftt:

Nice work! Great test model. :^:
Keep testing. Rendering is similar to a real life photo studio, except that you don't need electrical chords, and have unlimited lighting at your finger tips.

I'm sorry Rohganthompson, I just follow dereeei's joke. I forgot that once I was a Trekkie too.
If you truly want to test light, you should test it inside a textured box along with some piramids cubes and sphears.

aha, No worries was an amusing read.
The lighting settings are different throughout, I couldn't get the green lights down the side's to Glow (At least not all of them)
I did struggle to get the lighting in the room slightly gloomy, ended up using very bright Light strip Emitters and also changing the shape of the room a million times.
Its amazing how much twilight takes into account when Rendering images Very enjoyable and rewarding program :)
