Chesterfield Drugs & Alcohol

Post by posodrac » Sat Apr 27, 2013 5:45 pm

Here is my last of few renders that I call "Chesterfield, Drugs & Alcohol". Could say it's "Off Topic" because it is not "Work In Progress" as you all can see, it's signed. ;)
Just posting to show what I can do with Twilight Render, detailed models, good textures and P.P. It's the first time I edit a render image, due to my teacher (thanks Bro.)
In post processing I warmed the scene, blured the carpet, added the smoke, blured the whole scene a bit and used the vignett feature.
The arm and leg I got from 3D Warehouse that I textured and made some modifications as well the high-heel shoes that I cleaned the unseen geometry.
All other model are mine as the wood floor texture that I intend to share at my "Red Carpet" section.

Noooo, this is a real photo  I keed. Awesome work, higher and higher realism. The detail on the sofa is really catchy, looks cut from a real life photo and placed in there.

nice job!!!!
I think with some color adjustments, and exposure/tone mapping adjustments you could move it even closer to photo-realism, if that's what you want.

Thanks Fletch, but adding to the fact that I'm lousy at editing images also be colorblind, will do nothing to make the image became more realistic.
I think it could be sharpened a bit as well, but will lose the glamour mood.
You are welcome to do it for me, if you have time, and show us all the result. ;)

:!
5mins in photoshop with Topaz plugin "Adjust" tools
The placement of the candle stick exactly in the center of the shot does not help the composition. :|

Yes, Yes you got it Fletch, much better. :rspkt:
But... it's not a candle stick
That's an ashtray, an African black wood craft that I have in the family for about 40 years.
Although I agree with you about that black thing in the middle of the scene, if the observer knows that it is an ashtray, then the scene is saved.
Going to tweak photoshop now

Hi, sorry to bump this "old" topic, now that, quality of the last presented renders soared high.
The truth is that I had not much time to improve the image.
