Poor image quality
Poor image quality
I noticed that even after 150 steps and hours of rendering program with 09 or 10 the image quality is still quite poor.
For example (see image) I used as satin wood materials and architectural glass common and little luster.
The image in question is a villa outside
And 'normal, or where I'm wrong please? Thanks so much

Re: Poor image quality
Can't really help with just a tiny fragment of the image. What does the rest look like? It appears you might have trees. Do those have translucent leaves? Do you have a lot of other geometry? Your render is based on the entirety of your scene, not just one window.
Re: Poor image quality
hello chris, carry larger images of my exercise this after 190 passes with 09 mode; what do you think about it?
for vegetation I set all plastic flat
I do not see a clear image thanks

Re: Poor image quality
You have a fair amount of geometry, so it's going to take some time (ivy, trees, curtains?).
What kind of environment lighting are you using? Do you have DOF enabled? The image looks out of focus.

Re: Poor image quality
see picture - I have not enabled depth of field
why it is out of focus? where am I wrong? thank you

Re: Poor image quality
What are your computer's specs?
How big is your image probe used to light the scene?
It is suggested to increase render speed when lighting a scene with an hdr to use a blurry hdr approx 400px wide by 200px high. Then you render an alpha mask of the scene and add the high quality image in post production.
Easy 09 and 10 are slow rendering settings so expect to wait 4 to 8 hours per rendering if rendering in full hd or greater resolution. Unless you have more than 8 cores.
Although they are slower they are more forgiving than other settings and allow a quicker work flow.

Re: Poor image quality
Intel Core i5 processor? 4 cores, so 4 hours at 1600 pixels for Easy 09 render setting is normal. Blurry HDR image lighting will make it render faster.
Re: Poor image quality
Blurry HDR image It is present in the hobby version?
yes intel core i5 and 4gb RAM
to link http://postimg.org/image/6034bitjl/ see image, we have 8 hours to render for now

Re: Poor image quality
Blurry hdr is not a "feature" it is something that you create. "Blurry hdr" is a technical term. You re-size and save a very small copy of your large .hdr image using an external hdr image editor (there are several free hdr editors available on the web if you search). This small "blurry hdr" hdr greatly reduces the amount of lighting calculations needed from the rendering engine... while the observer's eye notices little difference. 200x400 is a typical size I have observed for blurry hdr.
