Follow the architectural materials Video Tutorial - in my link in my signature.

Use Architectural Thin Glass Common material template for your glass.
Find better trees on the 3D warehouse
Find better couch model on 3D warehouse
Use Plastic>Shiny or one of the perfect reflection templates for the floor. Use perfect reflection templates for the cabinets. Use stainless steel material for the stainless mats in the scene. Apply stone natural template to the concrete wall and use sketchup texture as bump map. Polished Concrete template for the coffee table.
The lighting looks ok, the 2 decorative lamps over the table don't seem to have an point light inside. Try adding a point light with radius 0.1 inside the components.

Thanks for the advice Fletch I've applied most of your suggestions but I'm missing a couple of the templates you recommended.
- Architectural Thin Glass Common material template
- Polished Concrete template

I substituted them with the closest templates I could.
The image is rendering at the moment, I'll post it when it's done.

Thanks

Template>Architectural Glass>Common - if you watched the videos, as you imply, then you would know this. ;)

Template>Perfect Reflection>Polished Concrete :^:

why is the glass tinted?
concrete wall material is not really working here. Need higher quality.
metals are not metal.
ceiling material needs to be wood template.

Thanks for the feed back.
I was trying to get a dusk/ early evening environment going.
For better concrete and metal images I went to the SketchUp Texture Club.
I'll post another image shortly.
I'm determined to get this right!!

The mapping of the concrete joints should match the architecture - in real life a window wouldn't end up between joints as shown.
See how the form tie holes surround the opening where they would have to be in order to complete construction:
