QTVR Twilight
Re: QTVR Twilight
HDRShop can be used to convert spherical (lat / lon) images to cross (among others).
Image -> Panorama -> Panoramic Transformations
Select Latitude / Longitude for your source image
Select Cubic Environment for the destination image.
Your source image should have 2x1 ratio, the destination should be 3x4. And make sure 'Use Bilinear Interpolation' is unchecked

Re: QTVR Twilight
PanoCube can handle spherical (lat/lon) images, directly from Twilight spherical to QTVR, but it is extremely quirky. I can walk you through it if anyone is interested.
Re: QTVR Twilight
Well, guys I think the better (higher) rendering preset seems to have helped. Here is the output:
http://www.gaieus.hu/su/videos/CarmeliteTwilight.mov
(Please, forgive the poor modelling and texturing faults - it is really just a "quick test" for the seamless output, and I made this thing when I had been using SU for about less than half a year - also, all textures are "plain SU textures").
Exactly the same material and environment settings a with the screenshot with the ugly seams above - just now with "07 High+" rendering preset.
And Fletch and Chris - I will definitely start to experiment with the spherical output. This test was merely to see if the "traditional" 6ximage-to-cubic works here or not. (the real reason is that in Kerkythea, I suffered a lot to get the images stitch correctly - but now with TL, obviously with a proper pre-set, it is easy).
So I think, the whole thing is quite promising.
_______
EDIT - and yes, definitely forfgive me for that "salad bed" the grass in the yard turned out to be. I don't even like salads so much.

Hi all
There is Flash VR Player of free.
vista64 and QTVR affinity are not good.
http://flashvr.sakura.ne.jp/index.htm
I made FlashVR from TR.
Since there is panorama(Spherical Projection)write-out in TR, it is possible to make FlashVR.

Re: QTVR Twilight
Make something like that in the past
Re: QTVR Twilight
Thanks for the tip, Toshiharu! Will check out definitely
(I don't really like these QT Panoramas myself, either, too much).

Chris,
Panocube looks interesting but it seems really complicated. I would be interested if you have time to write down some simple instructions or tutorial.

Re: QTVR Twilight
I have been trying to use Panocube according to the instructions but still I haven't been able to create cubic movies. When I drag the spherical image to panocube.exe I get a message: "Not equirectangular input!" Has anybody had similar problems?
When rendering, I used spherical projection and image size was 1600x1200

Re: QTVR Twilight
I think your ratio has to be 2x1 for your original image. So you need 1600x800.
