texture with vertical streaK

Can't seem to get rid of this vertical light streak that appears in my texture (circled in blue in the screenshot.). I have changed the size of the texture several times, but no help.It is currently 6" x 6"

please post the texture image which is giving you problems here.
share a piece of the .skp model where the problem is and we can help better. I would just be guessing without them.
have you tried

As per your suggestion, I am now using a texture I downloaded from Architectures. However, I can't seem to get it to shine.

Your scene, camera viewing angle, and the lighting leave nothing to reflect back. So it looks terrible, but that's not the fault of the material.
Read the names of each image below to see about viewing angle and material template used.
