Cool! Jumped on this today along with a pro license.
Noticing that denoise reduces image sharpness, especially earlier in the render. Wondering if we could get an unsharp mask post-process tool? Would be nice to play with this setting during the rendering. We could get an acceptable result even faster this way.

Re: FastForward Denoising is now available
You are definitely right, in the very early stages the rendering can be blurry, just simply on account of how much noise is in the image. The first pass of an Interior+ render is probably 50% noise or more!
A sharpening filter of some kind is probably not difficult to implement. We'll look into it!

So I have this GPU on my Mac. NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB. I wonder if I can use this feature if I run Sketchup in windows on BootCamp.
Re: FastForward Denoising is now available
What kind of Mac do you have? When we were doing research, it seemed like very few Mac's were equipped with NVidia GPUs (and nothing after 2016). But a user who actually has one would be in a much better position to comment on that. How common do you think NVidia equipped Macs are?
In theory it would be possible to release FastForward for MacOS. We didn't pursue that because of the understanding that NVidia equipped Macs are rare.

As far as running it in BootCamp, I don't know. I don't have any idea how complete the integration with Windows would be...
Re: FastForward Denoising is now available
This is on my 2013 MacBook Pro. Just came that way.
There are two cards. You can choose to only use the NVIDIA, which takes more energy. Or if you want to save the battery, it can be set to switch between the two as needed.

Re: FastForward Denoising is now available
I'm trying to use the new AddOn since Friday. Sometimes it seems to work, sometimes I only get a black area when rendering, for example, when I use the button "Set the render size to the current Sketchup size"!
And Twilight or Sketchup crashes. Once I also got the Twilight error message "caught unhandled unknown exception, terminating"?
Is there a way to control, enable or disable the new AddOn in Sketchup?
Our system: Twilight 2.12 with Windows 10, 1809, 64 bit, graphics card nVidia gtx 750 ti, driver 417.35, Sketchup 2017 Make

In the Render Dialog Window choose "Settings" pull-down menu and un-check "de-noise" option.
